Engagement: Khamir seeks to inspire a diverse public to think deeply about cultural practices and conservation through experiential learning, skill-sharing and research.

Trade Facilitation: Khamir plays the role of trade facilitator, supporting the development of emerging artisan-entrepreneurs, branding more established ones, and providing expertise and access to diverse markets.

Artisan Services: Khamir offers artisans access to raw materials, social services, and multiple opportunities for skill-building through trainings and workshops, as well as access to studio space and facilities on campus.

Innovation: Combining traditional Kachchh craft techniques and innovative technologies, Khamir seeks to redefine traditional practices through new value chains and sector specific interventions.
