KHAMIR has been established to integrate regional and external resources to revitalize and reposition craft and folk music. It is an institutional space that synergizes Kachchh’s unique cultural, ecological, and economic resources to support local livelihoods.  KHAMIR also serves as a common roof where artisans and musicians collaborate with national and international organizations to share knowledge, resources, skills, and expertise thereby strengthening Kachchh’s creative industries.
