KHAMIR- Craft Resource Centre’s Artisan Service Centres offer critical services and resources that empower artisans to add value to their products, adhere to international quality standards, and develop a market advantage. The Service Centres are intended to complement each of KHAMIR’s Craft Focal Points by providing artisan credit, design facilitation, documentation, trade facilitation, and value added services such as a raw material depot, natural and chemical dyeing facilities, tailoring and fabrication unit, and a quality control laboratory.

KHAMIR has worked closely with artisans and craft-based organizations to identify the services and resources that are most needed to revitalize and reposition craft as a sustainable local industry.

KHAMIR’s Artisan Services Centres are currently being developed to serve local artisan needs.  Though they are yet to be activated, KHAMIR looks forward to providing services to all levels of Kachchh artisans through its Artisan Service Centres.
